- There was no employee sustainability programme. Sustainability needed to become something people across a 20,000+ workforce understood and acted on, not just a central team's job.
- Approach
- Created an internal ESG & Compliance hub, including a newsletter, articles and the in-house digital channel; launched a Sustainability Ambassadors programme, and ran focused training for functions on compliance tools and processes.
- Outcome
- 8,000 volunteers onboarded and 1,100 hours of voluntary ESG learning in FY26.
